• Ensure the smooth operation and optimization of the firm’s legal software applications.
• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain software solutions that support the firm's legal and business processes.
• Enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve overall efficiency.
• Shared responsibility for the planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Manage compatibility and interoperability of applications.
• Ongoing review and analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of applications.
• Develop strategies to further leverage and improve these applications.
• Conduct research into software products and services in support of development and purchasing efforts.
• Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
• Maintain and monitor performance of existing software and applications across the organization.
• Collaborate with accounting department leads and training staff to assess application training needs and objectives.
• Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes.
• Field incoming request tickets from end-users to resolve application and software issues within assigned applications or databases and properly document interactions.
• Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
• Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, anti-virus software, and so on.
