About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the day-to-day Tax operations, including maintaining proper records and reconciliation files in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax returns, including WHT, VAT, and other statutory obligations, using AADE digital applications.
  • Manage myDATA processes, including data transmission, transaction classification, reconciliations, and follow-up on discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate accounting data within ERP systems, ensuring compliance with myDATA requirements.
  • Post journal entries, and update ledgers where required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in accounting activities, including ledgers, trial balances, and maintaining accounting records and entries in line with local standards.
  • Basic experience filing monthly tax returns, including WHT, VAT, duties, and using AADE digital applications.
  • Hands-on experience with myDATA processes, including data transmission, transaction classifications, and reconciliations, along with ERP skills related to myDATA.
  • Experience with SoftOne or Epsilon Net applications is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a high level of commitment
