About the role
- Support Avangrid Administration function by developing, maintaining, and delivering KPI reports and analytical outputs that support Control, Treasury, Purchasing, Internal Audit, and Tax
- Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports using Power BI and advanced Excel functionality
- Maintain documentation of reporting procedures and schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement through data analytics
- Lead special projects including automation initiatives and cost-benefit analyses
- Provide expertise on data analysis and reporting methodologies and drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and insight
- Stay current with data analytics tools and techniques to ensure best practices are applied
- Support Avangrid Administration management as required as a member of the Administration Management team
- Reports to: Director of Transactional Services - Administration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field required
- At least 6 years of relevant experience (The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Experience performing analyses and transactional processing within a Finance organization
- Advanced PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, VBA)
- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Query, Power Automate, Power Bi)
- Basic understanding of Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work as necessary with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present complex topics to all levels of management
- Ability to summarize results meaningfully and succinctly for the targeted audience
- Ability to effectively manage and analyze large amounts of transactional data
- Self-starter who actively seeks new opportunities and improvements to existing solutions
- Creative problem solver
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment
- Confidence to challenge and question where appropriate
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Perseverance
- Preferred: Experience with SAP
