💰 £44,000 - £55,000 per year
About the role
- Deliver change‑process activities and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical input into SCADA specifications, particularly for RTU replacement and development.
- Support regulatory and business‑driven objectives under RIIO.
- Respond to SCADA faults and defects, working closely with the OCC to optimise operational performance.
- Configure, test and commission SCADA systems, including on‑site activities.
Requirements
- HNC/D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience within the construction and operations of electricity networks
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience working with SCADA systems on electrical power networks.
- Good understanding of industry‑standard SCADA protocols and protocol‑emulation tools.
- Transmission or Distribution network operational experience.
- Ability to analyse complex engineering issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Knowledge of network data, business systems and network‑management tools.
- Essential: A valid UK driving licence is required, as this role involves frequent travel between sites.
