About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing multiple branches for a specific geographic area to meet company growth and retention goals
- Strategizing and implementing referral programs and service initiatives for bank growth while meeting customer needs
- Supervising employees responsible for various aspects of multiple branch operations and processes
- Developing and promoting good community relationships
- Facilitating sales plans to achieve market production goals
- Ensuring implementation of market call campaigns, customer sales calls, and outreach activities to reach sales performance and deposit growth goals
- Analyzing sales reports to drive sales production and elevate performance
- Developing Sales Managers by way of side by side development, coaching, observing and on-the-job training
- Facilitating sales development training sessions at a market level
- Traveling to various site locations to include outer markets to support assigned locations
- Advising Corporate Sales Managers of any leadership recommendations to include promotions and salary adjustments
- Managing market profitability by achieving branch production goals to include account generation, deposit growth, and service measured through JD Power
- Cultivating an environment that exemplifies a superior level of customer service
- Performing Human Resources activities such as prepare staff evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Facilitating communication within Managers and Branches
- Overseeing proper security policies and procedures at the branch level
- Participating in corporate and market initiatives as needed
- Serving our community by participating in various organizations to enrich and support our communities
- Providing approvals for Market retail customer portfolio adhering to Bank Policies
- Ensuring staff retention
- Actively engaging in various bank meetings
- Conducting employee terminations in the absence of a sales manager
- Participating in continuing education to include travel
- Supporting after hours as needed
- Flexibility to perform the duties of a Branch Manager, Sales Associate, and Teller Operations functions
- Ability to perform to Sales Scorecard expectations at a minimum
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Multi-unit retail management experience required
- 3-5 years retail management experience or equivalent banking industry experience
- Good knowledge of computer systems technology.
