About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide day-to-day oversight for the Underwriting Operations Team within the Management Liability unit
Lead organizational change; develop and empower staff; cultivate relationships
Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and ongoing feedback
Oversees training and quality product output of account management staff
Use metrics to monitor daily workloads, prioritize assignments, and ensure SLAs are met; investigate and resolve abnormalities
Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers
Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree required/Bachelors degree preferred
3+ years of relevant experience
Substantial understanding and knowledge of Underwriting Support Processes and Procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work throughout the organization at different levels
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in rating and policy issuance platforms, as well as system testing
Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.
Authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
