About the role
- Participating in the evaluation of actuarial reserves
- Contributing to the preparation of actuarial financial statements and documentation
- Supporting financial projections as part of the business plan
- Participating in work related to OSFI requirements, ORSA, and capital analyses
- Contributing to profitability analyses and performance monitoring
- Producing analyses, reports, and performance indicators for management
- Participating in the improvement of actuarial processes and cross-functional projects
Requirements
- Recognized for strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Undergraduate university degree in actuarial science
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Knowledge of SAS or statistical programming
- High level of rigor and strong team spirit
- Professional curiosity supporting quality of deliverables
- Strong communication skills to explain actuarial concepts in French
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in actuarial science
- Ongoing completion of CAS or CIA exams toward obtaining the ACAS/FCAS and/or ACIA/FCIA designation
- Advanced level of French proficiency required
