About the role

  • Participate in producing financial results, including reserve valuation and capital-related items.
  • Contribute to recurring monitoring exercises (KPIs, analyses, variance explanations) and support decision-making.
  • Perform or update assumption and experience analyses, document choices and quantify impacts (changes in basis, parameters, rates, fees).
  • Develop, modernize and increase the reliability of actuarial tools: calculations, controls, data collection, and documentation, focusing on quality, efficiency and maintainability.
  • Analyze and interpret results with managers, then communicate findings in plain language for various stakeholders (finance, pricing, leadership), including preparing summaries and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and a minimum of 2 years of actuarial experience, ideally in financial results analysis or group (collective) insurance.
  • Has passed one or more actuarial exams (SOA or ICA) and is on track to obtain the A.I.C.A. designation.
  • Strong interest in programming and automation.
  • Known for rigor and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Distinguishes themselves by a continuous improvement mindset and structured thinking.
  • Demonstrates high autonomy, initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Intermediate level of English.
