About the role
- Ensure the investment team’s service levels to advisors are maintained
- Facilitate accurate, compliant and timely processing of segregated fund trades
- Supervise and mentor assigned Investments staff
- Monitor workflow and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Partner with Manager, National Investments to oversee recruitment of new staff
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members
- Coordinate with software vendors and FundServ for system upgrades or releases
- Establish and foster relationships with carrier partners and advisors
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the investment industry
- Industry designation(s) (FLMI, ACS, AIAA) desirable
- Previous experience in the supervision/leadership/mentoring of staff
- Expert organizational and time management skills
- Proven accuracy, attention to detail and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of WealthServ and Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
- Bilingualism in French and English required
