About the role

  • Ensure the investment team’s service levels to advisors are maintained
  • Supervise and mentor assigned Investments staff
  • Organize, monitor and optimize the team’s work
  • Work closely with the Manager, National Investments
  • Facilitate the processing of segregated funds, GICs and other investment products
  • Provide support to the team with regards to technical issues
  • Establish and foster relationships with carrier partners and advisors

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the investment industry
  • Industry designation(s) (FLMI, ACS, AIAA) desirable
  • Previous experience in the supervision/leadership/mentoring of staff
  • Expert organizational and time management skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of WealthServ and Microsoft Office programs
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
