About the role
- Establish and maintain network security and performance
- Lead identification and response to security events
- Documentation and implementation of policies for cyber security
- Assist with testing and scanning for vulnerabilities
- Assist with reporting on PPI's security posture
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Tier 3 level technical issues
Requirements
- Degree in computer sciences or related discipline required
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a related capacity, preferably in a financial services or insurance environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with scripting, preferably PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge and experience with security technologies: Firewalls, IPS/IPD, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM System
- Hands on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytic tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Cybersecurity Frameworks such as OSFI or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Bilingualism (English and French) beneficial but not required
