About the role

  • Manage the full commissions cycle—from request through payment and reconciliation—including data validation, application of agreements, and handling exception calculations.
  • Actively collaborate with other commissions analysts to coordinate and organize team tasks.
  • Interpret and apply compensation agreements (standard and non-standard), document calculation logic, and maintain a compliant audit trail.
  • Analyze and process a variety of commission requests (simple to complex), correct anomalies, and clearly explain decisions to stakeholders.
  • Apply relevant rules and perform required calculations for cases that cannot be handled automatically by systems.
  • Create and update the data required for commission payments to intermediaries related to group insurance contracts within management systems.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of commissions paid.
  • Proactively communicate relevant commission information to the appropriate teams.
  • Communicate with account managers, intermediaries, and accounting team peers to obtain the information necessary for efficient processing of requests and to resolve complex cases.
  • Perform various accounting operations tasks, such as producing monthly adjusting entries and account reconciliations.
  • Conduct accounting analyses.
  • Participate in various team projects and other related tasks.

Requirements

  • DEC (College Diploma) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3–5 years of experience in compensation/commission calculations, complex billing, or financial operations (any equivalent combination will be considered).
  • Strong interest in calculations, numerical accuracy, and the ability to explain calculation logic to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented in a high-volume, fast-paced, high-impact environment.
  • Excellent proficiency with technical tools and strong rigor in data entry and processing, with a constant focus on quality.
  • Interest in compensation and understanding of related issues, combined with discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (intermediate Excel).
