About the role
- Understand and analyze requirements with the Product Owner and users to design appropriate solutions aligned with objectives
- Perform design, programming, configuration, and integration of Salesforce solutions by applying best practices, design patterns, and a security-focused, quality-driven approach
- Execute and automate testing, ensure smooth deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and maintain high performance of solutions into production
- Collaborate with peers, take part in technical discussions, and contribute to code reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to standards
- Support production solutions by monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement
- Keep clear, up-to-date documentation and actively participate in team activities (planning, Agile ceremonies, Definition of Done).
Requirements
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience with Salesforce, particularly Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data 360 (an asset) and Agentforce/Einstein (an asset)
- Relevant experience with MuleSoft (an asset)
- Holds a college diploma (DEC) or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles and practical experience applying them in a team
- Good knowledge of cloud environments, virtualization and container technologies (Microsoft Azure)
- Understands design, architecture, and security patterns, including OAuth
- Proficient in multiple development languages and technologies (e.g.: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL Server, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles)
- Demonstrates understanding of integration strategies (APIs, data integration, event-driven) and integration patterns (Pub/Sub, CQRS, Event Sourcing, etc.)
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as Kafka (an asset)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (an asset)
- Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English
