About the role

  • Analyzing procurement needs and conducting research on products and services using the tools available
  • Establishing, renewing, and negotiating contractual agreements as needed
  • Placing purchase orders, monitoring follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with procurement directives
  • Supporting team advisors in the execution of more complex files
  • Planning and organizing activities to achieve performance objectives
  • Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers in accordance with the code of ethics

Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the procurement field
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (e.g., procurement)
  • Solid knowledge of the Windows environment and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with a procurement system (Oracle Procurement or equivalent – an asset)
  • Advanced level of proficiency in English
  • Advanced level of proficiency in French
