About the role

  • Supervise projects carried out by the team of advisors and analysts.
  • Coordinate and manage the production of the annual ORSA report and the quarterly monitoring of various risk indicators.
  • Maintain the Group’s crisis simulation framework.
  • Manage relationships with the various sectors involved in risk quantification.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and improvements of the internal capital model across the Group.
  • Support the integration of the internal capital model into decision‑making processes.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of risk measures to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in the review process for corporate policies.
  • Support other teams in the department in joint projects.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Keep up with industry best practices in risk modeling and risk governance.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in risk quantification and relevant actuarial work
  • Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and capital models
  • Professional designation such as FICA, FSA, CERA, or FRM (an asset)
  • Advanced level of English
  • Knowledge of French is considered an asset
