About the role
- Work closely with the sales director for your territory to develop a business plan to achieve sales targets.
- Produce and deliver training to MGA advisors on iA products, sales concepts and illustration software.
- Understand the business model of advisors and business development directors (BDC) within the MGA network.
- Execute portfolio recommendations.
- Prepare and run sales campaigns for iA products.
- Solicit new business and maintain ongoing contact with advisors.
- Use our CRM software to drive sales growth.
- Create and revise presentations using PowerPoint.
- Maintain regular touchpoints (in-person, virtual, phone, email, etc.) with assigned advisors to prospect, drive sales growth and increase awareness.
- Propose, create and share growth ideas and concepts.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, presentations and events organized for supporters during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Review sales reports for a strategic prospect.
Requirements
- Recognized for excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate business partners.
- Demonstrates strong training capabilities, including leading, teaching, coaching and motivating others.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in the individual insurance industry or brokerage environment and possession of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
