About the role

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and fund publications (mutual funds and segregated funds)
  • Validate the accuracy of key financial documents (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in equity)
  • Detect and analyze financial variances to prevent risks
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with IFRS and industry requirements
  • Establish and monitor internal controls related to financial and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate on data governance to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Assess the needs of institutional clients and optimize reporting processes and tools
  • Develop models and visualization solutions (Power BI, Workiva) tailored to client requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting production, or accounting within financial services
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • CPA designation (asset)
  • Proficiency in IFRS and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Workiva)
  • Knowledge of databases and data management systems (asset)
  • Advanced level of English required for daily communication
