About the role

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and fund publications (mutual and segregated funds)
  • Validate the accuracy of key financial documents (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, equity)
  • Identify and analyze financial variances to mitigate risks
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with IFRS standards and industry requirements
  • Implement and monitor internal controls related to financial and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate on data governance to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Assess institutional client needs and optimize reporting processes and tools
  • Develop models and visualization solutions (Power BI, Workiva) tailored to client requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, report production, or accounting within financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Workiva)
  • Familiarity with databases and data management systems (an asset)
  • Proficiency in French is required
