About the role
- Actively contribute to detection and response activities for security incidents
- Operate a SIEM solution to analyze log data
- Monitor and stay informed about emerging attacks
- Define and implement new security checks and alerts
- Perform automated and manual vulnerability scanning
- Analyze security incidents
- Provide support and guidance for remediation
- Track incidents and produce metrics/indicators
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, or a college diploma with a specialization in cybersecurity
- Ideally 1–2 years of experience as a security analyst
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills
- Curious and open-minded with a proactive approach
- Experience with vulnerability scanners
- Ideally some first-hand experience with a SIEM tool
- Networking knowledge (WAN/LAN)
- General understanding of security solutions
- System administration/operations skills (Unix/Linux and Windows)
- Full professional proficiency in English and French
- Spanish is a plus
