About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage plan and specification work by coordinating with field leadership, internal departments, subcontractors, vendors, and customer representatives.
Review RFP, proposal, estimate, schedule and all contract documents to become familiar with project requirements.
Develop Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) with the Risk Department for submittal to customers.
Establish, maintain, and communicate construction schedules for assigned projects.
Arrange and facilitate preconstruction meetings, project execution meetings, project walk-downs with customers.
Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress and build rapport with field crews and leadership.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project costs and monitor subcontractor and vendor performance; submit weekly financial reports.
Collaborate with partnering Project Accountant to monitor financial process of projects, including change orders, projected cost at completion, revenue, and projected gross profit.
Complete project closeout processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant project management experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical construction project management.
Proficient in MS Office applications with strong skills in Excel, Word, MS Project, and Copilot.
A “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
