About the role
- Ensure systems comply with all applicable security policies, procedures, and standards, including those mandated by government regulations and cybersecurity strategy
- Manage security risk assessments
- Oversee the implementation of security controls
- Ensure that systems maintain compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and others
- Serve as the principal advisor on all matters involving the security of information systems
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field of study preferred or equivalent combination of education and progressive, related experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT management position, managing technology projects, such as security standards and network infrastructure
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Information Technology
- Experience in healthcare, particularly in the field of Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD) preferred
- Ability to explain technical problems to business users
- Professional certification preferred in one of more relevant areas (Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record, if applicable.
