About the role
- Establish and lead the maintenance organization across Mechanical, Electrical, PLC, Robotics/Automation, and Hydraulic/Pneumatic functions
- Define organizational structure, roles, headcount, and shift coverage aligned to production ramp‑up phases
- Build maintenance governance, standard work, escalation processes, and communication cadence
- Develop skills matrix, certification standards, and long‑term training and succession plans
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance managers, engineers, and technicians
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance strategies
- Lead greenfield implementation and stabilization of CMMS / SAP PM
- Establish PM job plans, equipment criticality, spare parts strategy, and documentation standards
- Own equipment lifecycle management from installation through optimization and replacement
- Lead maintenance readiness for SOP, including staffing, PMs, spares, documentation, and training
- Support equipment installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and production ramp‑up
- Ensure stable operation of Fab Shop and Dry Trailer Assembly Lines
- Manage maintenance KPIs including downtime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and cost
- Drive root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, LOTO, machine safety, and company standards
- Partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Safety, and SCM
- Manage vendors, contractors, service agreements, and emergency support
- Report maintenance performance and risks to Plant Leadership and HQ
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environments
- Proven experience leading large, multi discipline maintenance organizations
- Strong experience with new plant setup or major production ramp up
- Deep understanding of industrial equipment, automation, and maintenance systems
- Strong knowledge of maintenance KPIs, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement
- Experience working in U.S. manufacturing environments with regulatory compliance
