About the role

  • Supervises Plant Engineering and Maintenance staff directly related to the assigned operational department and organization while ensuring HMMA policies and procedures are carried out to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Directs and coordinates the activities of Plant Engineering and Maintenance Team Members in the assigned department or section.
  • Plans and establishes work schedules and assignments for direct reports.
  • Oversees and supports company policies in area of responsibility.
  • Develops, coordinates, and leads all responsible area related activities aligned with the company goals and objectives.
  • Monitors safety, environmental, quality, cost, and productivity/downtime for the responsible area; leads problem solving and countermeasure activities.
  • Leads Team Members in continuous improvement activities.
  • Manages overtime and other operational costs in area of responsibility.
  • Establishes activities to develop, train, and retain a high performing quality workforce.
  • Analyzes technology, resource needs, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confers with management and/or production staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.
  • Coordinates and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Presents and explains proposals, reports, or findings to management and/or production staff.
  • Evaluates Team Members’ performance in accordance with company policies including adherence to time/attendance policies, performance metrics, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent desired
  • 5 – 10 years of job related experience preferred
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance
  • Spare parts Organization
  • Fanuc Robot operation
  • AB PLC operation desired
