About the role
- Organize and oversee all security operations of the company.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Control budgets for security operations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise security staff and vendors, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and devise measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Investigate security incidents and promptly report findings to management.
- Maintain a secure environment for plant assets and minimize potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to enhance plant security.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
- Conduct security awareness training for all employees and contractors.
- Develop emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in security management, preferably in a plant or industrial setting, or a bachelor's degree in security management or a related field
- Experience establishing plant security protocols and plans and strong knowledge of security best practices and risk management.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising security officers and guards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- More than one year of law enforcement experience (Preferred)
- Good understanding of the Security and Access H/W (Preferred)
- Good understanding of the Security Camera and Access system (Preferred)
- IT & network knowledge (Preferred)
- Essential Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) (Preferred)
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with surveillance and alarm systems (Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (Preferred)
