About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the design, Requirements, Software build, maintenance and fixing bugs, improvements of broadcast technology.
Oversee complex engineering projects from concept to production.
Lead, train, motivate, and direct a team of software engineers.
Act as a subject-matter expert to diagnose and resolve complex engineering and HD, SXM and Broadcast software-related issues.
Ensure all operations and content comply with our headquarters in Korea, as well as maintaining a good relationship with the team in Korea.
Manage department budgets, control expenses.
Research and evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency, quality, and future growth of broadcast capabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training is typically required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in management and software automotive environment.
Extensive knowledge of broadcast, HD and SiriusXM Radio software including certification process for SXM and HD.
Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Must have reliable mode of transportation.
