About the role

  • Perform factory testing, calibration, configuration, and safety verification to prepare systems for customer delivery
  • Commission and validate systems at customer sites, including on-site testing, wireless communication surveys, and safety adjustments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical, electrical, software, and communication issues in factory and field environments
  • Support customer acceptance testing during factory testing and on-site installation milestones
  • Develop technical documentation and deliver hands-on training to operators and customer teams
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and customer teams to ensure safe, reliable, and timely system deployment
  • Level I: Support senior field engineers with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation while building technical and field experience
  • Level IV: Serve as the on-site technical lead, coordinating daily activities, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as the primary technical point of contact for the customer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for Level II
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Level III
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Level IV
  • Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and system documentation
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based systems, device configuration, and basic networking concepts
  • Experience with system commissioning, testing, calibration, and validation activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
