About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform factory testing, calibration, configuration, and safety verification to prepare systems for customer delivery
Commission and validate systems at customer sites, including on-site testing, wireless communication surveys, and safety adjustments
Troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical, electrical, software, and communication issues in factory and field environments
Support customer acceptance testing during factory testing and on-site installation milestones
Develop technical documentation and deliver hands-on training to operators and customer teams
Collaborate with engineering, project, and customer teams to ensure safe, reliable, and timely system deployment
Level I: Support senior field engineers with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation while building technical and field experience
Level IV: Serve as the on-site technical lead, coordinating daily activities, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as the primary technical point of contact for the customer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for Level II
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Level III
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Level IV
Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and system documentation
Working knowledge of Windows-based systems, device configuration, and basic networking concepts
Experience with system commissioning, testing, calibration, and validation activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
