About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate, monitor, and track international inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Collaborate with suppliers, distribution centers, and customers to confirm shipping schedules and resolve shipment-related issues
Manage and maintain shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, customs paperwork, and related records
Update and maintain Excel-based shipment tracking tools and ensure documentation is properly stored in SharePoint
Serve as the primary point of contact for freight carriers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers supporting international shipments
Resolve freight-related issues, including delays, damages, and claims
Partner with warehouse, procurement, production, customer service, and logistics teams to align shipment activities with business needs
Support cross-functional initiatives focused on improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
Maintain accurate records related to shipments, carrier invoices, freight audits, and compliance activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong understanding of international freight operations, including LTL, FTL, air, and ocean transportation
Working knowledge of customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export shipping procedures
Experience with AES filings, import/entry auditing, export and import compliance, and HTS classification
Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
