Accounting & Operations Manager – d/w/m
HypofriendAccounting & Operations Manager managing finance and HR responsibilities in a fast-growing digital mortgage intermediary. Handle accounting and ensure smooth HR processes while supporting company growth.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for accounts preparation using Lexoffice, including document management and account reconciliations.
- Issuing invoices and managing all payment transactions.
- Performing monthly VAT returns.
- Preparing monthly summaries and cash flow planning.
- Coordinating the annual financial statements in close cooperation with our tax advisor.
- Responsible for payroll preparation and ensuring smooth payroll processes.
- Managing administrative HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
- Administering social insurance and maintaining employee master data.
- Close collaboration with the HR and recruiting lead to ensure clean processes.
- Planning company events and creating team gatherings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or comparable commercial training.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance or operations — preferably in a high-growth company or startup.
- Practical experience in accounts preparation and with accounting software (e.g., Lexoffice or similar).
- Structured, meticulous approach and ability to keep an overview across multiple topics.
- Responsible, able to set priorities independently and proactive thinker.
- Confident communication in German and English and enjoyment in interacting with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., tax advisor).
