About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for accounts preparation using Lexoffice, including document management and account reconciliations.
Issuing invoices and managing all payment transactions.
Performing monthly VAT returns.
Preparing monthly summaries and cash flow planning.
Coordinating the annual financial statements in close cooperation with our tax advisor.
Responsible for payroll preparation and ensuring smooth payroll processes.
Managing administrative HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
Administering social insurance and maintaining employee master data.
Close collaboration with the HR and recruiting lead to ensure clean processes.
Planning company events and creating team gatherings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or comparable commercial training.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance or operations — preferably in a high-growth company or startup.
Practical experience in accounts preparation and with accounting software (e.g., Lexoffice or similar).
Structured, meticulous approach and ability to keep an overview across multiple topics.
Responsible, able to set priorities independently and proactive thinker.
Confident communication in German and English and enjoyment in interacting with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., tax advisor).
