About the role

  • Collaborate closely with product and project management to translate requirements into technical designs, specifications, and timelines
  • Partner with other engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Build and maintain highly scalable, performant React-based web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Lead by example in writing clean, well-documented, and testable code using modern best practices
  • Enforce and improve code quality through test-driven development and thoughtful code reviews
  • Assess requirements critically, ask thoughtful questions, and push back when necessary to ensure technical feasibility and long-term maintainability
  • Proactively identify technical risks, architectural concerns, and performance issues
  • Help prioritize work, balance feature delivery with technical debt, and recommend improvements to systems and tooling
  • Efficiently support software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, enhancements, and technical maintenance
  • Apply strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design and implement solutions to complex problems, including architectural changes
  • Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
  • Communicate progress, risks, and estimates clearly to technical leads and product owners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with React and component-driven frontend development
  • Proven ability to build scalable, performant user interfaces
  • Experience integrating with APIs and collaborating with service teams
  • Writes clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser behavior)
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build systems
  • Ability to independently drive tasks from design through delivery
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
