About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and articulate risks and opportunities in our live game operations through detailed analysis and interpretation of our data
Design and develop predictive models to support business forecasting, strategic planning and scenario analyses that inform decision making
Act as an interpreter and bridge between data and the business by creating thoughtful reports and dashboards, helping to visualize insights that our teams can use every day
Build and maintain strong relationships with all members of the team, sharing insights and tools that champion change and innovation within our live game operations
Architect of data quality policies and governance that promote integrity in our data and consistency in our review and policy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency with data visualizations tools (Tableau, Databricks AI/BI), Excel, SQL
Experience working in data analytics, and previous game industry experience is considered a plus
Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, statistics, physics, or other technical field related to measurement & analysis
Excellent quantitative skills, understanding of statistics, predictive modelling & ability to synthesize complex data into the “big picture”
Experience in a fast-paced environment prioritizing competing demands
Familiarity with app analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
Familiarity with data analysis & statistical methods; Python/R scripting skills a plus
Ability to look at large complex data sets, formulate meaningful conclusions and succinctly communicate them via written and verbal presentation
Flexible team player who can effectively work with colleagues from different backgrounds and domains of expertise
Experience working in a mobile or web environment
