About the role
- Manage the full project lifecycle for customer implementation projects, from initiation through closure
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Apply established project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)
- Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards, best practices, and quality expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Lead project meetings, status reviews, and planning sessions
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies in a clear and timely manner
- Manage client expectations and day-to-day client interactions
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as the first level of escalation for project challenges and conflicts
- Manage scope changes through formal change control processes
- Coordinate cross-functional project resources and oversee day-to-day execution activities
- Provide guidance and accountability to project team members
- Foster collaboration across internal teams and customer stakeholders
- Create and maintain required project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in project management and tracking systems
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success in managing projects
- Industry vertical or solution area experience
- Microsoft Office proficient, including MS Project and Visio
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight
- Good ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer service driven
