About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, preparing timely and accurate financial statements.
Oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense reporting with precision and efficiency.
Maintain reconciliations for all key accounts, ensuring financial integrity across global entities.
Support revenue recognition and cost allocation linked to infrastructure operations, datacenter leases, and hardware spend.
Streamline accounting workflows and introduce automation to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and internal controls while coordinating with tax and audit partners as needed.
Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to align financial processes with operational realities.
Maintain clear, organized documentation and assist in preparing management reports and audit support schedules.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar credential preferred)
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in fast-paced or scaling organizations
Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Experience with multi-entity or international accounting is a plus
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
