About the role

  • Driving financial and operational performance across the Americas Classic and Luxury portfolio
  • Building, refining, and maintaining advanced financial and operational models to evaluate hotel performance across the Americas portfolio
  • Analyzing large and complex datasets to identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities at both the portfolio and individual property level
  • Translating findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership, field teams, and property teams
  • Partnering with divisional stakeholders in finance, commercial, and operations to prioritize key focus hotels and strategic initiatives
  • Developing structured opportunity action plans, ensuring alignment with broader Americas strategic goals
  • Monitoring execution of plans and driving accountability across stakeholders to ensure measurable results
  • Serving as a liaison between corporate, regional, and property teams to ensure operational consistency and financial performance improvements
  • Creating and leading processes that establish accountability for results at both the property and divisional level
  • Providing tools, reporting, and frameworks to help teams “self-optimize” and sustain performance gains
  • Partnering with cross-functional Performance Optimization colleagues to share insights, align methodologies, and ensure consistency in approach across regions
  • Contributing to the development of global best practices and tools that can be adapted for use within the Americas

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in same field, industry, or other equivalent business/ function role
  • Must be proficient and comfortable with technology
  • Strong financial systems experience including Hyperion/Essbase and Excel advanced proficiency are critical
  • Strong PC skills with working knowledge of Word and Powerpoint
  • Embodies agile behaviors - a set of attitudes and actions that promote adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Service-oriented with professional presentation skills and effective training ability
  • A self-starter, able to find balance in working independently and within various teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines both in short and near-term
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to travel as required on a regional basis (15-25%)
