About the role

  • Focus on the execution of the Group & Business Travel segments for a portfolio of Midscale Hotels
  • Manage a sales funnel at multiple Midscale properties daily
  • Receive leads from many different sources and create proposals
  • Interact with clients to respond in a beneficial way
  • Responsible for Cvent Lanyon RFP Management and Rate Loading
  • Utilize Envision and other sales tools to promptly respond to leads

Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • Must be outgoing and a proven self-starter
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Opera, and Cvent
