About the role

  • The Revenue Management Analyst assists in identifying and maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for a portfolio of hotels.
  • The role focuses on gathering data and conducting an analysis of revenue potential generated by both transient and group travel.
  • This role supports the Central Revenue Managers, with responsibilities assisting in:
  • Daily review and management of the Revenue Management System recommendations for room accommodation and rate inventory controls
  • Schedule Expectations: Due to business requirements, this position requires availability for shifts beginning between 6:00AM-7:30AM Eastern Time.
  • Ensure group inventory is managed
  • Implement strategies on 3rd party internet channels, ensuring parity in all distribution channels
  • Conduct group evaluation/displacement analysis as needed by hotel sales to determine the impact on hotel RevPAR and overall spend in the hotel
  • Prepare weekly strategy reports for numerous hotels used during their strategy meetings
  • Prepare monthly sell strategy review of a 12-month booking window. Ensure group strategies are in place with the hotel strategy team for the entire booking cycle.

Requirements

  • Work with and understand hotel revenue information and data. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One-year of work experience in a hotel, business, sales, or related field
