About the role
- Support the preparation of monthly internal management reporting as well as quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Prepare consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Assist with internal reporting activities, including preparation of the monthly CFO reporting package and related analysis
- Review financial and other information submitted by divisions for financial reporting
- Review debt covenant calculations
- Develop process improvements and increase efficiencies in the Company’s consolidation and reporting procedures
- Prepare standalone entity financial statements and footnotes
- Perform review of XBRL tagging to ensure reporting requirements are met
- Prepare support to be provided to external auditors
- Participate in special projects and accounting research as needed
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting; ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of public accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- SEC and U.S. GAAP financial reporting experience
- Financial ERP / Reporting system knowledge (Hyperion preferred)
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
