Responsible for reviewing or providing oversight around complex monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, or analytics prepared and/or reviewed by the staff, seniors
Identifying and driving process improvement and automation as well as contributing to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, including documentation of process areas and testing of key controls
Reviewing quarterly schedules for external reporting
Managing a team of four direct reports
Identifying and leading initiatives and projects to improve accounting processes within the Corporate GL accounting team
Key point of contact for integration related activity impacting the corporate accounting function
Requirements
5-7 years of experience in corporate accounting and/or public accounting preferred
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA Optional
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office required
Financial ERP systems (Oracle/Hyperion preferred)
