About the role

  • Active new customer acquisition & qualification
  • Lead Generation 2.0: You proactively identify potential customers in key industries (automotive, aerospace and new energy) using digital channels (LinkedIn, databases, AI tools).
  • Qualification calls: You conduct the initial in-depth conversations to assess technical needs, determine whether the lead is qualified, and whether our services are the ideal solution.
  • Technical presentation & representation
  • Product presentations: You deliver initial product presentations and technical demonstrations (e.g., our TestCORE or digital validation services) — remotely and partly on-site at customer locations.
  • Trade show appearances: You actively represent NEXT at trade shows and conferences and act as the first point of contact for technical and sales inquiries.
  • Sales optimization (AI-first mindset)
  • Process optimization: You proactively contribute ideas to optimize our sales process and CRM system to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Collateral creation: You actively support the creation and updating of technical sales materials (presentations, case studies).

Requirements

  • You are a young professional or ambitious entry-level candidate and bring the ideal mix of technical know-how and sales passion: a completed (dual) degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Sales, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering with an economic focus, Business Administration with a technical emphasis, or a comparable technical/commercial education.
  • You are highly communicative, possess negotiation skills and a high degree of initiative, and are eager to actively shape the Sales area.
  • You are AI-native and enthusiastic about new digital sales channels, and confident in using CRM systems and digital communication.
  • High self-motivation, goal orientation, and the willingness to create real sales opportunities through persistent, hands-on work.
  • You have business-fluent German (negotiation-level) and very good English skills, and are willing to travel for client meetings (approx. 30–40%).
