About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from initial requirements through to production release.
- Execute rigorous manual, regression, and exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve user experience.
- Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites to support a continuous integration environment.
- Perform API testing to ensure seamless communication between internal services and third-party integrations.
- Review GitHub pull requests to understand code changes and identify potential impact areas.
- Document clear, actionable bug reports and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Take initiative in identifying process improvements and championing quality across the entire development lifecycle.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–6 years of professional experience in software QA or Test Engineering, specifically within SaaS environments.
- Proven expertise in manual, regression, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests (Playwright is preferred; Cypress or Selenium is acceptable).
- Strong proficiency in API testing.
- Ability to read code and navigate GitHub to understand technical changes.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a knack for detail-oriented bug reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage testing priorities without constant supervision.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with frequent deployment cycles.
- Nice-to-haves: Proficiency with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript; exposure to CI/CD pipelines and feature flag testing methodologies; familiarity with Ruby on Rails environments; domain experience in logistics, warehouse management (WMS), supply chain, or ERP software; experience testing complex products with multiple third-party integrations; familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code.
