About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo targeting CFOs, Controllers, and VP Finance leaders.
- Craft highly personalized connection requests and follow-up sequences that navigate the complexity of medical claims auditing.
- Manage and update all pipeline activity within HubSpot to ensure data integrity and lead tracking.
- Book, confirm, and conduct initial screener conversations to qualify leads from various inbound channels.
- Support a parallel outreach track focused on building relationships with insurance brokers.
- Meet and exceed KPIs focused on qualified conversations booked, show rates, and lead advancement to the demo stage.
- Partner with leadership to iterate on messaging and outreach strategies based on real-time market feedback.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in a BDR or similar sales development role, preferably within SaaS, Tech, or Financial Services.
- Strong proficiency in Apollo (list building, enrichment, and sequencing) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (advanced filtering and InMail).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM for pipeline management.
- Ability to work a strict 9-5 schedule in the EST timezone.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the "startup grind"—you are excited to help build a process where one doesn't yet exist.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn a complex industry (healthcare claims) to hold credible conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience in the Healthcare or Health-Tech industry.
- Background in cold calling and lead sourcing.
- Experience in an early-stage or pre-revenue environment.
- Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret engagement metrics to improve performance.
