About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Hardware & Mechatronics function within BEP Handheld R&D.
- Responsible for developing competitive, robust and compliant product solutions across the full product lifecycle.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of hardware and mechatronics engineers.
- Secure end-to-end development from early concepts to industrialization and lifecycle management.
- Drive the technical roadmap within hardware and mechatronics, aligned with product and technology strategies.
- Ensure effective and structured delivery in projects including planning, resource allocation, risk management and follow-up.
- Manage technical interfaces with suppliers and partners and contribute to innovation areas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant leadership experience in developing people, strengthening team spirit, and fostering a collaborative and stable team environment.
- Proven experience within hardware/mechatronics development.
- Solid understanding of product development processes and industrialization.
- Experience from cross-functional and international environments.
- MSc/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
