Global Category Manager – Construction, Facility

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Global responsibility for indirect procurement within construction and facility-related services
- Setting category strategies and establishing framework agreements
- Driving value creation through close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization
- Improving procurement efficiency and processes
- Ensuring high quality and compliance standards across all construction and facility-related sourcing activities
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as Facility, Engineering, Operations and local site management
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business or a related field (a master’s degree or equivalent experience is considered an advantage)
- At least 7 years of experience in strategic procurement or category management, with substantial exposure to Construction and Facilities sourcing
- Proven experience managing complex construction-related sourcing initiatives and negotiating contracts on a global or multi-site scale
- Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies and lead major sourcing and cost‑out initiatives
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into insights, business cases and strategic decisions
- Experience working cross-functionally in an international environment
- Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with Swedish standard construction agreements ABT 06 and AB 04 (required)
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required. Swedish is considered an advantage.
