About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop test plans and schedules based on DVPnR
- Actively participate in the product development team providing input to FMEAs and test plans
- Ensure test plans provide confidence that the product tested will be reliable and safe
- Collaborate closely with international design and test engineering teams
- Develop test equipment to validate design criteria
- Train and lead Test Technicians in test methods and use of test equipment
- Review and analyze test results to ensure accuracy
- Develop benchmarking plans for competitor equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience as an advanced level test engineer
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline, or 10+ years relevant experience
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in relevant tools (Excel, Matlab, etc.)
- Experience with data acquisition software (Somat, Edaq, LabView, etc.)
- Experience with electrical measuring equipment (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc.)
- Experience working with and troubleshooting robotic equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of test equipment and reliability engineering methodology
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications and MS Teams
