About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You lead our Paid Search area from a subject-matter perspective and take responsibility for complex, international client accounts
  • You develop modern Paid Search and full-funnel strategies — data-driven, cross-channel and focused on sustainable growth
  • You translate strategic objectives into clear priorities for operational execution and ensure resources are deployed where they will have the greatest impact
  • You foster a strong testing and learning culture: formulating hypotheses, running experiments, capturing clear learnings and producing concrete recommendations for action
  • You evaluate new platform features, formats, automation and AI capabilities and convert them into scalable standards for the team and clients
  • You advise clients and internal stakeholders as an equal partner — acting as a strategic sparring partner for performance, growth and development
  • You establish professional standards for methods, quality, account structures and strategic approaches in Paid Search
  • You coach and develop colleagues professionally and support the team in day-to-day operations
  • You bring our Paid Search expertise to pitches, client presentations and internal knowledge-sharing sessions in a high-impact way

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Paid Search, SEA or Search Advertising
  • Strategic understanding of performance marketing, business objectives, data and digital growth levers
  • Experience with complex account structures, automation, Smart Bidding, Performance Max and modern search setups
  • Analytical mindset: you identify patterns, set clear priorities and derive concrete recommendations for action
  • Testing mindset: you develop hypotheses, run structured tests and systematically improve accounts
  • Confident presence in client consulting, strategic sparring and presentations
  • Structured, independent way of working
  • Business-fluent German (C2); English skills are an advantage
