About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support recruiting efforts for Huron’s Early Talent & Corporate Recruitment teams
- Partner with a Recruiting Lead and TA teammates on recruiting plans and day-to-day hiring activities
- Help manage multiple open roles by tracking progress, updating stakeholders, and flagging risks or delays
- Prepare candidate updates, interview schedules, and hiring status reports
- Conduct initial resume reviews and screen candidates for basic qualifications and role alignment
- Support outreach efforts and maintain timely, professional candidate communication
- Help ensure a positive, organized candidate experience throughout the interview process
- Communicate with candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams
- Escalate questions or issues appropriately to ensure alignment and candidate care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, campus recruiting, recruitment coordination, or a customer-facing role; internships welcome
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Chicago location preferred
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience using CoPilot, Claude, or ChatGPT is beneficial
- Familiarity with ATS tools or LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus but not required
