About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Extract healthcare data across EHR systems
Pull clean, accurate data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, and other platforms to support reporting and analytics
Write and maintain CCL
Develop, test, and tune Cerner Command Language (CCL) queries for data extraction
Build SQL-based extracts and datasets
Write and tune SQL queries, data extracts, and reporting datasets
Build, enhance, and support reports and dashboards in SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Work directly with client stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
Support the full range of healthcare reporting
Use SQL Server, SSIS, and related tools to move and shape data
Produce clear, client-ready documentation of designs, processes, and solutions
Manage your own priorities and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5 or more years of healthcare experience (required)
Direct, hands-on experience working with healthcare data in a clinical, financial, operational, or IT setting
Multi-EHR data extraction
Proven ability to extract and work with data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, or other EHR platforms
Ability to write, test, and maintain CCL for data extraction against Oracle Health (Cerner)
Strong SQL for querying, data analysis, and reporting
Hands-on experience with one or more of SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau
Experience with SQL Server, Visual Studio, and SSIS for report and data integration development
Demonstrated experience turning raw data into usable, accurate reporting
Ability to manage priorities and deliver with minimal oversight, plus clear written and verbal communication
