About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Driving the design, configuration, and delivery of Talent Management and Learning workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations
  • Responsibilities include requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post‑go‑live support
  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert across Oracle Talent modules and Oracle Learning
  • Partner closely with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders to translate talent and learning strategies into scalable Oracle solutions
  • Facilitate design workshops, manage testing cycles, and resolve functional issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Core HR and other HCM modules
  • Support reporting and analytics needs, develop documentation and training materials, mentor junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
  • 1-2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands-on expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
  • Canadian citizenship is required for TN visa travel to the U.S. as needed.
