About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Driving the design, configuration, and delivery of Talent Management and Learning workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations
Responsibilities include requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post‑go‑live support
Serve as a functional subject matter expert across Oracle Talent modules and Oracle Learning
Partner closely with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders to translate talent and learning strategies into scalable Oracle solutions
Facilitate design workshops, manage testing cycles, and resolve functional issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Core HR and other HCM modules
Support reporting and analytics needs, develop documentation and training materials, mentor junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
1-2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision
Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking
Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands-on expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams
Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
Canadian citizenship is required for TN visa travel to the U.S. as needed.
