Key responsibilities & impact

Lead intake, scoping, and documentation of clinical research data requests
Convert clinical and research needs into technical specifications
Design, build, and maintain data assets for research use
Write, test, and optimize SQL queries
Manage and execute data requests within defined scope
Identify and resolve data issues, validate new data sources
Conduct on-demand data analysis to support research and decision-making
Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a health science or technical field
5+ years of experience working with healthcare data in Epic Clarity or Caboodle EHR data warehouses
5+ years of experience with standardized clinical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, UMLS)
5+ years of experience in healthcare reporting or biomedical research
5+ years advanced SQL programming expertise
experience with data mapping, terminology management, and documentation
