About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead design for Chart of Accounts and end-to-end accounting in cloud-based ERP Financials and EPM implementations
Evaluate institutions’ use of Oracle Cloud ERP and identify optimizations related to financial management and reporting
Partner with finance leaders and stakeholders to translate accounting, budgeting, and financial management requirements into future-state ERP designs
Provide functional expertise across institutions’ financial operations
Collaborate with integration, conversion, reporting, finance, grants, payroll, and student or affiliate systems teams
Support pre-sales and business development activities
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner
Contribute to the development of standards, templates, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5–7 years of experience supporting financial management, accounting, or ERP implementations for higher education and/or public sector organizations
Demonstrated experience with FASB and/or GASB accounting standards, fund accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
Experience working with Oracle Financials Cloud or another ERP financial system (e.g., Workday, SAP, Unit4, PeopleSoft)
Strong functional understanding of higher education or related business functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of consulting staff
Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
