About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop RM Strategy Leads (Managers) enterprise-wide
  • Translate CVP priorities into clear operating rhythms and execution plans
  • Own demand and capacity governance across the enterprise
  • Oversee enterprise utilization management and optimization efforts
  • Provide executive advisory support to the CVP and enterprise business leaders on resourcing strategy
  • Coordinate cross-business-unit staffing for integrated deals and priority initiatives
  • Champion responsible AI-enabled ways of working within RM
  • Ensure enterprise reporting and insights are standardized and actionable
  • Drive enterprise strategic workforce planning
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Huron’s offerings and delivery models across all business units
  • Analyze enterprise-wide data related to headcount, confirmed work, backlog, and sales pipeline to identify trends
  • Progressively absorb planning and optimization responsibilities from individual business units
  • Cultivate and strengthen the RM organization through talent development
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality on sensitive employment matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in resource management, business operations, workforce planning, or human capital roles within a professional services environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and coaching people, including managers and leaders with responsibility for others
  • Proven experience navigating and leading within a highly matrixed, complex organization, influencing across business units, functions, and senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a deep understanding of the financial, operational, and people drivers of performance in a professional services organization, including margin, growth, utilization, and capacity trade offs
  • Proven ability to assess, redesign, and scale enterprise processes and systems, driving adoption across a matrixed organization to improve consistency, efficiency, and decision quality
  • Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools and data‑driven insights to support enterprise decision‑making, with appropriate human oversight, validation, and responsible data handling
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and strategically to resolve problems with creative solutions
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including intermediate to advanced data analysis and aggregation techniques
  • Experience translating business and operational needs into scalable reporting, analytics, automation, and technology requirements.
  • Experience with Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, and SharePoint is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and remain self‑directed while also being an exceptional collaborator in cross‑functional environments.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic setting, with the ability to manage multiple, time‑sensitive priorities concurrently.
